Getting there

Mar Sisal is easily accessible via direct non-stop flights into Merida from Houston (Continental), Atlanta (Delta)and Miami (various).

Some airlines offer flights with a connection through Mexico City.

You can also fly into Cancun and rent a car for a 3.5 hour drive to Merida, if you want to sight-see along the way. The Yucatan is rich with Mayan culture.

Once you’re in Merida, it’s a short 35-40 minute drive to Sisal.

The majority of the route to Sisal is currently a two-lane asphalt roadway with very little vehicle traffic.

Plans are in the works for a new highway that’ll cut the travel time from Merida down to about 20 minutes.
